On July 21, 2025, the Weifang Entrepreneurs International Alliance (WEIA) was officially inaugurated under the initiative of the WEA. The Alliance consists of 343 members, including all 205 members of the WEA, along with 118 overseas Weifang-origin entrepreneurs and chamber leaders2 representatives from the Weifang Enterprise Going-Global Association, and members of 4 provincial and 12 interprovincial Weifang chambers of commerce. The Alliance elected 1 Chair28 Vice Chairs1 Secretary-General, and 133 Council members. The President, 19 Vice Presidents, the Secretary-General, and 67 Council members of the WEA were elected as the Chair, Vice Chairs, Secretary- General, and Council members of the WEIA, respectively. The Alliance has established 14 overseas chapters across Europe, Africa, Central Asia, Oceania, North America, Japan, South America, the Middle East, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Hong Kong & Macao China. This network provides an efficient channel for Weifang enterprises to expand globally and engage internationally.

The WEA and the WEIA operate under a co-located office structure.The secretariat's leadership team comprises heads or designated senior officials from the United Front Work Department of the Municipal CPC Committee, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal CPC Committee, the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Municipal Data Administration Bureau, and the Municipal Returned Overseas Chinese Federation.
